golfs sacred journey

By John Lynch

Dear Golfer,

I must admit when I first received my review copy of Golf's Sacred Journey - Seven Days At The Links Of Utopia by David Cook I said to myself - "yet another golf book on spiritual redemption".

After a not so productive day on the golf course I decided to settle into my favorite chair with a good Scotch and read "Seven Days At The Links Of Utopia" - maybe I might find my game.

The truth is I could not put this book down - I was totally drawn in to the author's: "entirely different approach on how to excel in your golf game" as Zig Ziglar so eloquently stated in the introduction to this book.

What's more is this book is not only about excelling in your golf game - but life as well!

Golf's Sacred Journey is also about influence. It's about a man who lived in a simple place but had astonishing insight. He also had something else on his side. He had time; time to invest himself in the life of another who was lost on his journey. Golf's Sacred Journey is based on the thousands of athletes the author has counseled and the great mentors and teachers from whom he has learned.

PGA golf pro Tom Lehman wrote the foreword to this book. Tom wrote on how eight words David Cook spoke struck a deep nerve within his golfing soul. He said: "Find what you do well and perfect it."

I hope you enjoy Golf's Sacred Journey as much as I did.

Life is a sacred journey, enjoy the ride!
