Four Magic Moves And The Back to the Wall Drill

four magic moves

By John Lynch

Here is a drill that will instantly tell you whether you need to learn the Four Magic Moves To Winning Golf.

If you swing the club too far to the inside during your back swing this drill will tell you. Most amateurs yank the club to the inside during the back swing putting the swing immediately off plane. The result is a golf swing that is too flat.

The Back To Wall Drill:
This drill will tell you if you have a overly flat swing. First and foremost, check your ball position and your distance to the ball at address, as this symptom is the most common cause of a shank. Remember guys; try to work on fixing your fundamentals first before using drills to fix your problems. I cannot stress this enough; most swing faults start with poor fundamentals.

Ok, now find a wall that you can set up too. Have your butt approximately six inches away from the wall (Don't do this drill using a nice wall or you may find yourself in the doghouse with your spouse). To take a full swing with the wall in the way your path will need to become more upright. Take slow swings to start, and work on getting to the top and back to the ball without hitting the wall. It should feel different, but all new movements do. Work on swinging slowly until you can make a full swing without making contact with the wall.

Master this drill until you can do it every time without hitting the wall...

Then go out and buy Four Magic Moves To Winning Golf and learn the early backward wrist break. four magic moves

The early backward wrist break teaches you something pros never do - How to break the wrists during the back swing!

If you combine the Four Magic Moves with the "Back To The Wall Drill" you will have found the holy grail to great golf...

This I promise you!

Play well.

Bruce Fleisher's secret - The Medicus Driver!

Since turning 50 in October 1998, Bruce Fleisher has been the Senior PGA Tour's major success story! Bruce, who became the third youngest US Amateur Champion in 1968, began playing his most spectacular golf as a rookie on the PGA Senior Tour in 1999. Bursting out of nowhere, Bruce swept through his rookie year winning seven times, posting back-to-back victories in his first 2 events, a feat that had not been accomplished by anyone, including Palmer, Nicklaus, or Trevino! He concluded his spectacular rookie season by winning every one of the following Senior PGA Tour awards, which recognize the best performing player each year:
medicus driver
• PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD
• ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AWARD
• BYRON NELSON AWARD FOR THE BEST SCORING AVERAGE

Bruce's biggest problem in his golf swing is he sometimes takes the club back to fast. With the Medicus Driver he is forced to take the club back smoothly or else the dual hinge in the Medicus Driver will break down.

Bruce firmly believes the key to a consistent and repeatable golf swing is a smooth takeaway - if your takeaway is smooth, a lot of good things happen in your golf swing. You will be on plane from the start of your golf swing and able to release all that stored power at the right time - IMPACT!!

If you decide to buy any of Medicus Driver on Ebay or Craigslist - BUYER BEWARE!!

Ben Hogan's Golf Secret

ben hogan secret
By John Lynch

What was Ben Hogan's Secret you ask?

Sports psychologist Dr. Bob Rotella wrote in his book "Golf is Not a Game of Perfect" that he interviewed Ben Hogan shortly before Hogan's death in 1997. Rotella asked him "what is the Ben Hogan secret?"

Hogan responded he had always told folks the Ben Hogan Secret was a weaker grip and a cupping of his left hand at the top of the backswing. He said the combination of a weaker grip and cupping of his left hand eliminated the nasty hook he struggled with early in his career.

Here's the deal...

Hogan stated the reason he always said this was because golfers wanted to hear something mechanical about his golf swing - so he gave the people what they wanted to hear...

The truth is that was a lie!

Hogan said it wasn't until 1946 at the age of 34 he won his first major tournament - the PGA Championship. Hogan started winning majors because he quit being so mechanically minded on the course and began playing by "feel" and trusting his golf swing.

Since his golf swing at this point in his life was already fundamentally sound due to all those years of tireless practice in the dirt, there was no need for him to think about his golf swing while under the intense pressures of PGA tournament golf. Hogan began to trust his swing - no more mechanical swing thoughts cluttering up his conscious mind.

The result...

9 major championships!

He said the Ben Hogan Secret is basically the mental process of transferring your golf swing from the practice range to the course.

The fact remains that in the good 'ol days of the 1940's any kind of 'mental' talk about the golf swing was considered voodoo stuff. This is why Hogan was so relectant to talk about any mental techniques he used and be thought some kind of kook or witch doctor.

Hogan said these mental techniques of simply reacting to his target on the golf course was like lifting a ton of bricks off him, freeing him to use his subconscious mind rather than his ego controlled consious mind.

Once Ben Hogan began to react to his target using the golf swing he brought with him that day, his golf game took a quantum leap...

Hogan learned how to score on the golf course!

Hogan firmly believed tinkering with your golf swing should be done on the range...

Not on the golf course!

This folks, is the real Ben Hogan Secret.
