Mark OMeara - Is The Medicus Driver A Scam? [VIDEO]

Since 1984, Mark O'Meara has been one of the best players on the PGA Tour. Last year he was third in scoring (69.69), tied for first in greens in regulation, second in par breakers and eighth in all around performance. He's a confident player who won back-to-back tournaments earlier this year. There's no doubt about it, "The Prince of the Pacific" can golf his ball. You don't make all those birdies without being a good iron player, and O'Meara is considered to be one of the best on Tour.

The Medicus Driver is the best selling golf swing trainer ever. Our golf swing trainers are prized by amateur golfers who want to improve the form and tempo of their golf swings. Medicus golf swing trainers are also a favorite among golf professionals. In fact, the Medicus was voted the #1 golf swing trainer by golf professionals a whopping seven years in a row!

For years, pros and amateurs alike have turned to Medicus golf swing trainers to identify their flaws and improve their scores. But we weren't content to rest on our laurels. Instead of continuing to sell the much loved original Medicus, we have improved upon an already excellent design to introduce an even better crop of golf swing trainers.

The Medicus Dual 2000 5-Iron Trainer, Medicus Dual Hinge Driver, and Medicus Dual Hinge 7-Iron are now better than ever before. No wonder golf luminaries like Jack Lumpkin (a former PGA champ and one of the top 100 golf instructors) and Mark O'Meara (winner of 16 PGA Tour victories) use and endorse our golf swing trainers.

The Medicus Dual Training Pack is an ideal choice for amateurs and pros who are serious about improving their game. The Dual Pack includes both a patented Dual Hinge Driver and a patented Dual 2000 5-Iron. We've even thrown in a couple of exceptionally helpful DVDs, the "Top Tips" DVD and the "Drive Like a Pro" DVD. To order yours, simply order online now!

Free Golf Swing Tip - The Mental Game Of Golf

mental game of golf
By John Lynch

The mental game of golf is rooted in concentration. Concentration is the root of golf mastery. It is much more than the ability of not being distracted or even visualizing the golf shot.

Granted, hardly any of the authors of ANY golf instructional book have comprehensive training in golf psychology, so let me give you some tips for peak concentration on the golf course and how to master this mental game of golf. I’m not talking about “grinding” out on the golf course...this will burn you out early in the round and mentally deplete you.

First off, dance with which you brought to the course...in other words, don’t try to fix your golf swing out on the course. There is plenty of time to fix your golf swing on the range after the round. Your job on the golf course is to play golf, not play swing...you need to learn how to score!

Your thoughts need to be focused on getting the golf ball into the cup in the least amount of strokes possible...the object of the game! (How soon we forget this fact) The only things you should be thinking about while you plan your golf shot is the target, distance, direction, wind speed, your lie...and any other factor that comes into play.

Before you can master the mental game of golf you MUST forget about your last golf shot and what score you might shoot. Only concentrate on the golf shot at hand. Discipline yourself to stay in the moment...this takes time to master...if you want to become an accomplished golfer you will master this skill.

Once upon a time your ability to concentrate was incredible. Before you could think or understand what words are. This was when you were a baby. Your brain was a sponge. As a baby you could hold your attention on anything in your field of vision without any distracting thoughts.

As you got older and learned how to talk and to think you soon became aware of that little voice inside your head that seems to be with you during every waking moment. Some people call this little voice you’re “ego”. It’s this little voice you can’t quiet no matter how hard you try. You’re ego is always telling you that the golf shot is too hard, or that other golfer is better than you. You need to quiet this little voice to become proficient at the mental game of golf.

Zen master Dogen Zenji teaches not to stop negative thoughts in your mind...let them stop by themselves. If some negative thought comes into your mind, let it come in, let it go out. It will not stay long if you are not attached to the thought. When you TRY to stop your thinking of a negative thought, it means you are bothered by it. Don’t be bothered by anything and the mental game of golf will become easy for you.

It may appear as if negative thoughts come from outside your mind, but actually they are only waves of your mind, and if you are not bothered by the waves, gradually they will become calmer and calmer. In five or ten minutes your mind will be completely serene and calm. At this time your breathing will become quite slow.

Now that your breathing is slow and your mind is calm, you can nourish your mind with positive swing thoughts. Your mind follows your breathing, if you are breathing slowly; your mind is ready to focus on only the thoughts that will allow you to play the golf shot at hand.

If your ego gets in the way and you are thinking of how to impress someone, this thought will get in the way of your objective to play the shot at hand. Let the thought come and let it pass...do not try to get rid of it, let it pass on its own, like a wave on the ocean – this is the essence of the mental game of golf!

A Simple Golf Swing

a simple golf swing

The simple golf swing will really make your golf game fun. Think of it this way, the guy that invented the game probably was hitting a rock with a stick. He surely did not have the same swing that we are attempting today. Which means he must have had a natural swing. I remember reading Sam Snead's book about the first time he picked up a club. It was a branch with a ninety degree limb and he hit rocks. There are many elements to a natural or simple swing but one of the main keys is the path of the club head.

The club head must always face toward the target until the finish. From the address to take away, from the top of the swing all the way through impact the club head has to point toward the spot you want your ball to land. To accomplish this you must have stability in your stance. The left arm needs to remain straight without breaking at the elbow. Solid contact with the ball still remains a priority.

Keep in mind that each club has its own purpose and distance. When you are going to hit a ball depending on the club will determine how far you stand back from the ball and the position of the ball in your stance. A nine iron you stand more upright, which means you stand closer to the ball. Each subsequent club you stand a little further back until you get to the driver. With the driver you stand back a long way and sweep into the ball.

A lot of people talk about transfer of weight and foot movement, but with the natural swing you can easily accomplish your goal of long and straight with or without your legs transitioning the weight. Of course as time goes by and you become familiar with the natural simple golf swing by adding in your leg weight transfer your results will improve. Just think of the guys that are missing legs who successfully play the game.

Basically, the natural swing is simple for most people to master. Please be aware that you will need to do drills and practice to become good at it. The difference is that it will be much easier to do than what you have previously been trying to learn. Your body will not have to jump through all those hoops and your game will become fun!

Here is my story. I have been playing golf since I was sixteen. I was a terrible player. Putting was good but getting to the tee was a nightmare. I was all over the place. About a year and a half ago (I'll be 60 February 14,2010) along came the information about a simple golf swing.

Let me tell you it is fabulous I now hit the fairways and greens on a regular basis. GOLF HAS FINALLY BECOME FUN!! Don't wait as long as I have, life is way to short. Whether you go to my articles or my site to get more information, it does not matter. Just find out how to hit the ball long and straight without having to learn a complicated swing. That mine of your body is not capable of.

Golf Swing Improvement - Astounding Golf Secret!

golf swing improvement
Talented athletes who have failed to make it big are seen in ALL sports. We all have heard numerous stories about brilliant athletes who never went anywhere because they were not willing to put the time in needed to reach their innate potential.

I learned an astounding golf secret about golf swing improvement from a zen master. Zen Master Dogen Zenji frequently spoke about the "four horses," which is a metaphor used by the Buddha in the Samyuta-Agama sutra. The path to golf swing improvement is described most powerfully by the metaphor of the four horses.

The first horse, the superior class, is like a horse that runs fastest by merely feeling the whip's shadow. The second horse, the good class, runs fastest when the whip brushes its hair, the hair of its mane. The horse that runs fastest when the whip touches its body is the third class of horse - or the poor class. And the fourth, the lowest kind of horse, is the one who runs fastest only when the whip can be felt to the marrow of its bones.

At first glance we all want to be like the first horse in the superior class. These are the fast learners - the ones who seem to be a natural. Dogen Zenji says this may not be so desirable. A study of master golfers has shown that it is not the students with innate natural abilities who have achieved golf mastery. The golfers who have achieved mastery are mostly the students with average to below average natural abilities - the ones who have practiced their craft diligently. This is very interesting - why is this so?

Many plateaus in golf skill levels accompanied with short bursts of golf swing improvement is the path to golf swing mastery for all golfers.

When the first class of student takes up golf they see an immediate spike in golf swing improvement and are very motivated. When they reach that ultimate first plateau where their golf swing does not improve despite hard practice, many talented students get discouraged.

Gifted students are used to seeing fast progress, so they may blame the golf instructor or something else just so they don't have to put in the hard work that is needed to continue along the path to golf swing improvement - and the ultimate goal - golf swing mastery!

Many superior students will then give up the game of golf due to frustration.

Superior athletes who never make it big are seen in ALL sports. We all have heard countless stories about gifted athletes who never made it big because they weren't willing to put the time in needed to reach their innate potential.

The fourth class of student will see a slower rate of golf swing improvement, much time spent on plateaus in their golf swing skill level. If the fourth class of golf student stays with it and practices hard they will learn the golf swing to the marrow of their bones, like the fourth horse.

Before you can master the golf swing, you need to learn the golf swing to the marrow of your bones. To learn the golf swing to the marrow of your bones you need to stay at each skill level for however long it takes. Most first class students never learn the golf swing to the marrow of their bones because it comes easy to them. The time spent on plateaus for golfers who learn fast are shorter than the ones who learn slower.

The enigma of the parable of the four horses is we must learn the golf swing like the fourth class of horse to become like the first class of horse - or the superior class - to become a master golfer!
