How To Cure Your Golf Slice?

how to hold a golf clubHow To Cure Your Golf Slice

(Golf tip based on techiques learned in the Simple Golf Swing)

If you're looking to cure your golf slice, this tip is for you.

The proper way to grip the golf club enables the club face to return square when it comes back down to the golf ball.

If you've got the dreaded banana ball, check out your grip. When you look down at your left hand if you don’t see any knuckles, your club face is probably wide open at impact.

So, the next time you go tee it up, give this a shot. Turn your left hand over towards your right hand. Make sure you can see one or two knuckles and make sure both palms are facing each other. This is a great way you can cure a golf slice.

With that, I guarantee you that the club face will now start to square up at the bottom.

Now I’m going to tell you the most common fault with a driver. It’s slicing it, that’s a given.

But let me tell you why so many people slice the golf ball. If you turn when you go back and you swing your arms up, in the downswing the arms have to come first.

So many amateurs open the shoulder to start the downswing. And that makes the golf club cut across it.

From the top the arms swing first, and your shoulder never opens.

So, let me teach you something that will cure your slice once and for all.
Try hitting golf balls with your feet and knees touching each other and making normal, real golf swings. Everything else stays the same.

It's a wonderful way for you to start feeling that the arms swing away from the body. And they aren’t connected to it when you turn into it with the left shoulder.

The arms are free to swing past you and you don’t have to worry about the body.

You can actually play golf that way...

Try it, you'll be surprised how solid you strike the ball.

Play well

Golf Swing Tip - Learn How to Hit a Power Draw [VIDEO]

(This Golf Swing Video on how to hit a power draw is based on an astonishing golf swing system - The Simple Golf Swing)

Dear golfer,

Here's your chance once and for all to learn how to hit a power draw in this new golf instruction video from Bobby Eldridge and PurePoint Golf. This easy to follow video is designed to help you learn the draw golf shot. This golf shot is so powerful it will fix your slice immediately and let you hit the ball further than ever before.

This golf instruction video will teach you step by step how to draw the golf ball on purpose.

After you go through your setup routine, make sure you aim the golf ball further right than normal, further right than you're used to.

This golf video will also teach you some golf grip instruction. When you grip the club, you should turn both of your hands a little bit to the right - for a more stronger grip. This will encourage you to release your hands more at impact giving you that boring draw trajectory that will run for ever!

And, make sure you're aiming with your shoulders, knees and hips to the right of your target line. And if you'd like to and you feel comfortable, you can put the right foot back a little bit in your stance - essentially what this does is to give you a more closed stance which encourages that power draw we are all looking for.

Follow these simple golf instructions and you will be drawing the golf ball in no time!

Creepy Tiger Woods Nike Commercial [VIDEO]

4/07/2010 6:30 PM ET By Will Brinson

Not many people stood by Tiger Woods as his personal life was falling apart. And even fewer sponsors seemed to be by his side.

Nike, however, can count themselves among the loyal. Which is probably why they're the first sponsor to feature Tiger in a commercial, which will air beginning Wednesday night.

"We support Tiger and his family as he returns to competitive golf," said Nike spokesman Derek Kent. "The ad addresses his time away from the game using the powerful words of his father."

The ad, seen above (via Darren Rovell at CNBC), features Tiger -- in black and white -- staring into the camera with the familiar voice of his father asking questions in a presumably omniscient manner.

Earl Woods says, "Tiger, I am more prone to being inquisitive, to promote discussion," Earl says in the spot. "I want to find out what your thinking was. I want to find out what your feelings are. And did you learn anything?"

This isn't the first time Tiger and Nike have used his father in commercials; one of the most awesome displays of marketing came around Father's Day in 2008 when they played Earl's voice over clips of the two practicing golf and some sentimental music (the "You'll never meet someone as mentally tough as you ..." commercial; embedded below the new ad).

The only issue here is that whereas Nike harnessed their ability to market and combined it with a very touching appeal to fathers and sons -- while the appeal to second chances here does make sense, something about the commercial as a whole comes off a tad bit off.

Is it the combination of appealing to the consumer for forgiveness amid a pile of swooshiness all while using Earl's voice? Well, it might be. Having said that, Nike stuck by Tiger throughout this whole sordid mess, so, by all means, advertise away.

Simple Golf Swing Review

simple golf swing reviewDear Golfer,

I review golf instructional products on my website, I know which ones have value and which ones are pure snake oil.

So is the Simple Golf Swing just another scam?

Here's the deal...

The Simple Golf Swing is currently the no. 1 best selling golf instructional guide online...

Ok, so it sells well.

But is it practical?

It was written by David Nevogt and claims he has helped over 19,000 golfers around the world improve their golf game.

What this all boils down to is...

I have never been a huge fan of using golf instructional guides by themselves to improve your golf game. These ebooks all have great sales pages promising instant cures in your golf swing. New golfers see "fix every part of your golf swing", and think "wow! EVERY part of my swing huh, here's my credit card info."

Then the same golfers who bought the golf instructional guides realize that a list of instructions mean nothing on it's own - only after wasting their cash on the ebooks...and then the next hot golf instructional book comes out and the cycle repeats itself...

Great for the guys who sell the golf books, pretty frustrating for the poor new golfer who bought it.

So you can imagine my reluctance when the simple golf swing came across my desk for review.

So does it work?...

I have always been a huge advocate of swinging around a stable spine to hit the ball consistently solid and straight. When someone says "You picked your head up", what they really mean is you lost your spine angle - one of the most common faults in the golf swing.

When I watch amatuers practicing on the range, just about every one of them do NOT keep their spine angle stable throughout the golf swing.

I know what you're saying - "easier said than done!"

To tell a golfer to "keep your head still" simply doesn't work because the same golfer becomes restricted and does not make a proper shoulder turn - the secret to real power.

I have always been looking for a golf training system that teaches golfers how to swing around a stable spine and still make a proper shoulder turn.

And the way the Simple Golf Swing teaches you this it's down right spooky.

Main Benefits Of The Simple Golf Swing:

1. The Simple Golf Swing contains a step-by-step guide with detailed photos to teach you the correct way to grip the club. Instructions for the interlocking and the overlapping grip are included. You learn the best grip for your swing.

2. Learn a method to check your grip the club the same way for every shot.

3. Learn a procedure to ensure your grip promotes straight ball flight.

4. Learn a secret to align the club face so you don't push the ball right. This is a problem many golfers face, but luckily it is an easy one to fix.

5. Learn the revolutionary setup. The Simple Golf Swing setup allows you to swing around your spine. The key is to limit the amount of horizontal and vertical body movement during the swing. This setup automatically gives you the correct swing plane promoting consistency and power. It's given to you in a step-by-step procedure and is easy to remember on the course.

6. Learn to get to the top of your backswing, and how to get into the same position for every shot. The Simple Golf Swing teaches you an inside-out swing you can use to automatically hit the fairway.

7. Learn where to stop your backswing. The Simple Golf Swing teaches a shorter backswing than most. A short backswing promotes consistency, and increased distance. Remember, golf is a game of opposites.

8. Discover the distance secret many instructors don't even address because it's so hard to teach. Here's a hint: A simple Hand Action to increase your swing speed by 10 mph.
